C&O Canal. – Slice of Day 3

It’s foggy. It’s cool. It’s going to be dark in the Paw Paw tunnel. Starting gun is about to go off. We ae now joined by 16 additional riders for day 3.

GAP Trail – Slice of Day 2

The day started early in morning fog at OhioPyle and the sun broke through by the time we stopped at Rockwood. Now we are breaking for lunch at Myersdale with only a few more miles left to reach the Eastern Continental divide. It’s all downhill to Cumberland and break for the night.

Lunch at TrailSide. Everyone is here. 27.2 miles in and we are break. Elevation is 874 feet and we will climb to about 1300. Sun temps in the mid 60s. More photos tonight to post at days end. Everyone is safe.
